I definitely agree with you on the boss design (and how the armed phenomenon guardians and Elpizo phase 2 were pretty disappointing anti climaxes...) It was pretty damn satisfying trying learn the ins and outs of the levels and bosses, and then try to figure out how to dismantle each boss on my 100 point runs.

Psychotherapies can really only help in finding out about your needs, but they will not actually help. Sometimes when you know what you want, what you need, but you know you just can't get it no matter what, then no solitude or opening up to someone will help. Solitude is then only means to protect others I care about from ruining their day with my mental state and not making them worried. I wouldn't say it's really a superpower of sorts, it's just a method to get some benefits by thinking inwards, analyzing my life, choices, my needs. But when I'm stuck with no way of going out, brain still wants to find solutions. It turns into an infinite spiral of finding what went wrong, trying to fix it, failing, never being able to change anything, yet the brain still wants to find solutions, because this state is way too destructive. And the overthinking never ends. The real superpower is acceptance. Being able to just not care anymore is something I really envy to my friend. I wish I could just accept that I won't be fulfilled anymore, that I won't have anyone to really connect to anymore, that all that's left is to just rot. I have to admit, this was a good video, but ending is a bit shallow. "The time alone is healing time" - No, time doesn't heal wounds, it makes you adapt to them or makes you forget about them if you have something to replace them with positive experiences, but loose that replacement or replacements, and wounds open again. "Take pride, you've done so much alone and you're still alive" - Wish I wasn't tho but I don't have balls to end it XD Seriously what's there to be proud of, result is still bad. If I had someone's hand on my shoulder, result would be better. That's just logic. "The right people will come when the time's right, especially if you're mentally ready for them" - I'm sorry but this is just bafflingly arrogant. No, they won't, the world does not run on movie magic. Life is random, those people will come or not, you will meet them or you won't, they will be right, or wrong, or we all might just die with a snap of our fingers like that, because that's how unstable life is. It's all a roll of the dice. Someone could say "well with this kind of mentality you will deffinitely never get anything", which would also be objectively false, mentality is not affecting some magical vibrations that has the power to change fate. Our thoughts mean nothing. It's our actions that can maybe roll dose dice, but the result is still random, that's how much control we really have. Finally "The only thing barring you from happiness is yourself" is synonymous to saying "your sad state is your fault even when it's not", just sugarcoated.

Honestly, my gripe with PX/P is that its only weapons are the kunai... like, I get it Phantom was mostly known for these but he was carrying a sword with him around and had several attacks in his moveset utilizing it, and if they really didn't want PX to turn into "ZX with extra steps" they could have made basic combo more limited and instead of giving us charged slash give it some technique as a result of charge (maybe for e.g. smaller and mobile version of his clone attack) but overall I feel like all alternate Biometal forms in ZX and ZX Advent feel a bit lackluster compared to the characters they're based on and the moves they had as bosses, giving me an annoying feeling dev wanted to tunnel players into using mainly "protag" biometal for combat making it the most fun for combat and others were more so your metroidvania "unlock more areas" upgrades, well I have my ideas for how to rework all of these (and with Exception of FX/F all would be getting 2 types of attack with their weapon) but maybe would need to check what Overdrive in ZX can do to biometals as I barely used this feature also it would be the awfully long thing for a comment, tho given already my idea for a main change I'd do to PX

Z2 will always be a special game to me cause its the one that got me back into megaman. i played X4 and 8 as a kid then basically played nothing until Z2 randomly and i was just hooked on it. also wtf it was made in 4 months O.o

ill be honest the first time i saw Elipzo in Zero 2, the first image that appeared on my mine was him on the witness stand

I felt so clever when I found on my own that it’s possible to skip that room in temple of fire without zips, the way they designed it makes it seem like it’s barely possible to do. Also I think it’s really cool that it’s made a lot easier with a speed upgrade, giving the active form a really niche use in that level.

IDK if I said this on the run itself, but the beetle brothers one-cycle is the cleanest thing I've ever seen and I love it so much. It definitely is one of the best MMZ boss battles.
